Common Use:

Isotroin is primarily prescribed to treat severe cystic or nodular acne resistant to antibiotics and topical treatments. It significantly reduces acne severity and recurrence.

Dosage and Direction:

The dose is typically calculated based on body weight and taken once or twice daily with food. Follow your doctor’s exact instructions, and do not adjust the dose without consultation.

Precautions:

Do not use Isotroin during pregnancy, as it can cause serious birth defects. Regular blood tests, including liver function and lipid profiles, are required during treatment, and sun exposure should be limited.
